Presenting a project

Transparent

In order to request the support of The RTE Foundation, it passes through various stages:

1. Dossiers are preselected by the Foundation’s operations team, in collaboration with the regional correspondents, based on a short presentation of your project, This first stage enables to make a first selection and to eliminate the project out of the field of the foundation.

2. Examination

If your project is in the field of the Foundation, the Team of the Foundation will send to you a support request dossier. In it, you will have to provide many details on your project (objectives, different stages of its realisation, financial aspects). You will have to send this dossier to the Foundation with administrative, and financial documents.

Your dossier is then examined in depth by the Foundation’s team, in collaboration with the relevant regional correspondent and/or the employee who forwarded the dossier.

During this examination, we will contact you to gain a better understanding of your project and its reliability, to get to know your association/organisation better and to have an idea of possible exchanges/ collaborations...

A project summary is then sent to the selection or executive committee.

A committee meets around every 3 months to decide on allocating subsidies.

Warning: the examination of a project requires a lot of time. Indeed, the team of the Foundation wants to understand your project in details. Your dossier must be send with all the mandatory pieces 3 or 4 weeks before the committee.

3. Follow-up

We will very quickly inform you of the committee’s decision.

Every project selected will be the subject of a letter of commitment together with, depending on the project type, an agreement that precisely defines each party’s commitments and allows us to assess how the funds are used compared with the project as presented. If your project is sponsored by an employee of RTE, he/she will follow your project during the time of its realisation.

You undertake to send the Foundation a summary of how the subsidy will be spent, as well as an assessment of the implemented project.
