For healthy rural communities

Like our towns and cities, the countryside is facing economic, social and cultural problems. However it is also a living space under constant change, which every day is enriched by a multitude of initiatives.

Armed with a budget of 3 million euro over 3 years, the Fondation RTE wishes to contribute to the joint and balanced development of France’s regions.

In particular, it intervenes to encourage actions of solidarity in the rural environment by supporting nearby projects, suggested by general interest bodies. It has a threefold objective - to tackle exclusion, create social ties and preserve the environment.

Fondation RTE favours initiatives that enhance the value of rural assets, whether these are cultural, architectural or environmental.
