Solidarity, a value at the heart of RTE’s public service missions

For more than a century, the power networks have played a crucial part in our society's economic development, improving living conditions and bringing people closer together.

In creating the Foundation, RTE is looking to develop its commitment on sustainable development in the public interest. On another level, it is also a practical way of applying the values of solidarity, proximity, openness, respect and general interest proudly upheld by our 8,300 staff.

Sharing the same values of ethical behaviour and transparency, RTE has opted to bring its own foundation under the umbrella of the Fondation de France. Moreover, the RTE Foundation is among the first signatories of the Patronage Charter, proposed by ADMICAL, affirming its commitment, its philanthropy vision and its willingness to share more with the structures supported.
